Udaipur, India. Passion and Color

It’s amazing how many intense, racist, political statements this simple 1 minute Travel Video PostCard has generated in its 60,000 or so views. I wonder why?

Udaipur, India, is 300 miles southwest of Delhi, India, and is called one of the most romantic cities in the world.

Udaipur, India, has also been called the City of Lakes and the White City, because of its four white marble palaces, all built by a maharana in the 1500’s.

Udaipur is a perfect Adventure Travel destination with its passion, color and lakes in the middle of the desert in the state of Rajasthan.

Some say Udaipur, India, is a wonderful place for family travel. Children, as well as their parents, can immerse themselves in an exotic culture: the different language, music, food, colorful dress and ancient history.
Certainly the people are very friendly and love children.

But I’m not convinced it’s for every family.

Family Travelers will see elephants and camels, as well as taxis and rickshaws..an unlocking of the senses.

Yes, Udaipur, India, is a special destination, for the curious and patient and prepared.

Good to know that there are people interested in the rich culture of my country, and working hard to bring it on the world view. Cheers for your wonderful blog. Even I’m a published poet. You can catch glimpse of some of my works here- http://souravroy.com/poems/
